FILE No. PP-001 · CLEARANCE: PUBLIC · BUREAU OF CANINE AFFAIRS

Last updated: July 2026

The Analog Archive (“we,” “us,” or “the Bureau”) operates annalogarchive.com. This page explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and what we do with it.

We keep this simple on purpose. If anything here is unclear, contact us.

Who We Are

The Analog Archive is a small, independent publishing project. Our physical products (books) are sold through Amazon. Merchandise (mugs, shirts, prints, and tote bags) is sold directly on this website through our Supply Depot shop.

Information We Collect

When You Browse the Site

Our hosting provider automatically logs standard technical information for every visitor: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and time of visit. This is normal web server behavior, used only to keep the site secure and running properly. We do not use this data to personally identify you, and we do not sell it.

When You Subscribe to Our Newsletter

If you sign up for “Request Clearance” (our mailing list), we collect your email address. This is sent to and stored by Kit, our email newsletter provider, who sends the emails on our behalf. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send. See Kit’s own privacy policy at kit.com/privacy for how they handle your data.

When You Make a Purchase in the Supply Depot Shop

When our merchandise shop is live, placing an order will require us to collect: your name, shipping address, email address, and payment information (processed securely by our payment processor; we do not see or store your full card details). This information is used only to process, fulfill, and ship your order, and to contact you about it if needed.

Order fulfillment: Physical products ordered through the Supply Depot are printed and shipped by Printful, our print-on-demand fulfillment partner. To ship your order, we share your name, shipping address, and order details with Printful. Printful processes this information according to its own privacy policy.

Payment: Payments are handled by our payment processor. We do not store your card number or payment credentials on our own servers.

Cookies

The site uses a small number of technical cookies to make basic features work correctly, such as remembering your session and, once the shop is live, keeping track of your shopping cart. We don’t use cookies to build advertising profiles or track you across other websites.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information above only to: send you the newsletter, if you’ve subscribed; process, fulfill, and ship orders placed in the Supply Depot; respond to you if you contact us; and keep the website secure and working properly.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

Who We Share Information With

We share information only with the service providers who help us run the site and fulfill orders: Kit (newsletter delivery), Printful (order printing and shipping, once the shop is live), our payment processor (payment processing, once the shop is live), and Hostinger (website hosting).

Each of these providers only receives the information they need to do their specific job, and each has its own privacy policy governing how they handle it.

How Long We Keep Your Information

Newsletter email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe. Order information is kept as long as needed for accounting, tax, and customer service purposes, and to comply with applicable law.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to: ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and withdraw consent (for example, by unsubscribing from the newsletter).

To exercise any of these rights, contact us.

Children’s Privacy

This site and its products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the Supply Depot shop launches. The “Last updated” date at the top will always reflect the most recent version. We encourage you to check back occasionally.
